Carpet Plus has been on Castle Road in Bedford since 1992. What started as a one-man operation has grown into a proper family business; three generations, the same showroom, and the same approach to doing things properly.
We supply and fit carpet, LVT, Karndean, Amtico, laminate, and vinyl for homeowners across Bedford and the surrounding area. Lewis comes out to you, measures up, and gives you a written quote with everything included. No hidden extras, no surprises on fitting day.

Independent and family run
Brian started Carpet Plus on Castle Road in 1992. His wife Diann ran the showroom for over a decade, and the business became a Bedford institution. When Brian stepped back, his grandson Lewis took over -- trained the same way, same values, same Castle Road address. Brian is retired now but still comes in to keep us on our toes. Some things don't change.
Brian
Founder. Brian started Carpet Plus in 1992 and built it into one of Bedford’s most trusted flooring businesses. Retired now, but still comes in to make sure standards haven’t slipped.
Lewis
Owner. Lewis runs the business day to day and carries out all home visits and estimates. When you book, it is Lewis who comes to you — not a salesperson, not a subcontractor.
Ewan
Operations. Ewan handles all incoming calls and enquiries and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. If you call us, you will speak to Ewan first.
